Discover Your Life Purpose Part 1

One of the Charisma School students sent me the following question:“can charisma help me discover my purpose of life?”

Let’s think about this together.

What exactly means to find your “purpose in life”?

Depending on who you ask, you’ll get different answers. But here’s one of my favourite.

Fyodor Dostoyevsky wrote:
“The mystery of human existence lies not in just staying alive, but in finding something to live for.”

We can say that your purpose in life is to find something to live for. Something that gives your life meaning. That fills you with joy.

And we all have this purpose. Finding it, is often the hard part since it’s obscured with layers and layers of anxieties, fears, thoughts, etc.

To find, you need a direct connection to your true Will. The core of yourself.

You see, most people are not connected to their true Will. To their true source of inner power. Their core.

They live day by day controlled by the contents of their mind. And because of this, finding their purpose just goes out of the window.

When you live completely controlled by the content of your mind, by the thoughts, emotions, feelings and inner voice, you are not living; you are merely being a spectator for your mind. It’s like your mind is playing a show, and you are watching it non-stop.

If you listen attentively to everything that your mind spurs out, if you follow every single thing you listen
inside of your head as if it’s really YOU, then you are being a spectator and NOT an active participant in life.

And you can’t find your purpose when you are in this passivity or “spectator mode” everyday.

How can you find your purpose in life if your mind is filled with fears, worries, concerns, anxieties and boring inner voice?

You can’t live ruled by your mind… you must RULE it.

You don’t want to be a spectator, you want to be the director.

You must control your mind and actively use your Will in the world, if you want to ever find any purpose in life. It’s very unlikely that you’ll find it by being a spectator in life.

It’s much more likely if you find it by being an active participant, someone who is acting on his WILL everyday, who was a strong inner power that is having an impact on the world.

And this is a choice you make every second of the day: to watch the show, or to run the show. To be passive or to be active. To be powerless or to have true inner power.
