In the last few posts (here and here), we explored the importance of inner work and awareness: what they really are, and just as importantly, what they are not. We looked at why it’s so easy to get stuck in overthinking or surface-level introspection, and how real inner work requires something deeper and more energetically embodied.
But you might be wondering: what does any of this have to do with Charisma? Why are we talking about energy, awareness, and inner work here at Charisma School?
The answer is actually simple, especially once you understand what real charisma is. True charisma isn’t just about looking confident or speaking well. It’s not a performance or a set of tricks.
Charisma is the natural expansion and expression of your true Will. It’s the outward projection of who you really are when your inner system is aligned and your energy flows freely.
You can’t fake that. And you can’t access it just by thinking about it.
If you’re stuck in your head (constantly making theories, analyzing everything, or justifying your behavior) you lose touch with what’s real inside you.
And if you’re caught in unconscious patterns that keep repeating themselves, your energy stays blocked. There’s no room for that deeper presence to shine through.
I often think about this when I notice plants growing through cracks in city sidewalks. Some plants manage to break through the concrete. Others don’t. Either way, it’s clear they’re not growing in the conditions they were meant for. It’s not natural soil. It’s not a space where they can truly thrive.
The same is true for us.
Only “our concrete” it’s internal. It’s the limitations we carry inside: the unresolved patterns, the emotional blocks, the stories we tell ourselves, and the constant stream of mental noise and negativity. These things create the invisible structure we grow within, often without even realizing it.
And because we’re so used to living in our heads, we don’t see the concrete we’re trying to grow through. We don’t notice what’s holding us back because we’re too busy thinking, explaining, and theorizing.
That’s why inner work, awareness, and energy are not side topics but instead they are central to personal magnetism.
If your energy is stuck, your presence is dimmed.
If you don’t know yourself, you can’t express yourself fully.
And if you can’t access your true Will, your charisma becomes just another mask: something you put on rather than something that radiates naturally.
This work starts inside. And from there, it grows outward… strong, grounded, and real.
