The field of behavioral economics is fascinating.

For those who don’t know, it’s “a method of economic analysis that applies psychological insights into human behaviour to explain economic decision-making.”

What a mouthful!

In other words, it shows you how unconscious (and irrational) you are in most decisions you take in our life.

We, in Charisma School, have been talking for a long time about the unconscious and robotic way most people move through the world.

It’s nice to have some academic validation!

Rational and truly conscious decisions take effort and energy. And your brain likes the soothing and comfortable low energy mode where everything flows without effort.

Simply put, to be AWAKE takes more energy than to be asleep.

This should be a fairly obvious and logical statement.

But most individuals haven’t yet seized its implications for the everyday living. It means we should strive to get used to a high energy mode of living.

Which doesn’t mean to run around like a headless chicken, but simply to use your Will, mind and attention in an active way – as opposed to being led by circumstances and habits.

If anything, you should establish the habit of being active and aware, as we’re constantly recommending.

This doesn’t have necessarily to be a hard and strenuous life where everything takes effort.

You see, energy generates energy. Once you get into the habit of being awake and willful, a movement is started. Everything is set into motion and you just enter into a flow state.

Being awake, aware and filled with moving energy becomes a way of life. Just like being asleep was before.

And all of sudden, the cognitive biases, the lapses of rational thought that are studied in behavioral¬†economics, become fewer and fewer. You start to become one of those “exceptions” to the research.

Our flagship course, 10 Steps to Inner Power, is the one that handles this awakening process to an willful and energetic life.

So you can chose if you want this highly awakened life or a robotic one.
