Keeping a journal has been a foundational stone of my path. I’ve been using it since the beginning of my training – due to an advice of my teacher – and I haven’t gave up since.
I still write on a journal on a daily basis.
Not just on my own training – although that’s a big part of it -, but also on pretty much everything else of my life.
This is one of the techniques most students skip, yet, it’s a crucial one.
It’s very easy to do the exercises and go through your everyday life without reflecting on them. The journal forces you to do this fundamental reflection.
It’s much more than recording your events, or what happens during the training.
It’s a tool for thinking, understanding and reflection.
What you do in all the Charisma School trainings is making you aware of a whole new reality that you didn’t knew it was there. All the trainings can be summarized as: awareness + Will.
And this needs elaboration inside of you. You need to elaborate on your relationships with others, on what you feel inside, on what you say to yourself, on how the energy moves inside of you and how it feels. If you’re just going through the motions with the exercises, then you’re not going to take much out of it.
This is about making the training YOURS.
And there’s no better tool for that than a jornal. This is what allows you to elaborate on everything that you experience during the exercises.
Particularly when you go through a training with a tool like this, to extract your own valuable insights from it, the training immediately boosts in value. You’ll get insights that were hidden before.
I find it hard that someone won’t benefit from journaling in their life in some way, shape or form.
It’s all about finding the right way of doing it for you. And this is something that anyone can do with virtually no cost.
