At Charisma School, we have no shortage of exercises for inner power, will, energy, magnetism, and more. If you’ve taken any of our courses, you’ve seen this for yourself.
But more important than the exercise itself is truly understanding it.
Exercises are always a gateway — a way for you to gain deeper insight into yourself. Even something as simple as the “dot on the wall” gaze practice works this way.
This magnetic gaze exercise is incredibly simple, and I’ve described it before in many videos and articles. (You can subscribe to the free Magnetic Gaze course to learn more.)
The instructions are straightforward: pick a dot on the wall and stare at it with an unblinking gaze for a few minutes.
In the first few days, you’re focused on the mechanics — developing your eye muscles, finding the right position, and adjusting to the physical aspects of the exercise.
But after a couple of days (or sometimes just a few attempts), you’ll have those basics sorted out. You might think you just need to repeat it a hundred times, and then, suddenly… success!
Not so fast.
That’s how a beginner thinks.
You need to go deeper. You need to start noticing patterns on different levels.
Maybe you become aware of unnecessary muscle tension around your eyes and realize how it restricts your energy flow.
Or perhaps you start feeling sleepy during the exercise, which indicates a downward energy flow. Instead of your energy rising toward your eyes, it’s moving in the opposite direction.
Or maybe you notice the mental patterns that make you want to give up after a few days. It could be overconfidence: “I can already do this perfectly; no more training needed.” Or self-doubt: “I’ll never be able to do this.”
No matter what kind of exercise you’re doing, treating it as a tool for self-exploration — rather than just a routine task — will help you unlock its true value.
But if you see it as nothing more than a daily chore, like taking a supplement and moving on, you’ll miss out on its real benefits. Exercises aren’t magical on their own; their power comes from the insights they bring into your mind, energy, and self-awareness.
