We can never learn any skill without learning the basic tools.
If you want to learn how to play guitar, you need to learn the basic musical elements, the different guitar sounds, how to hold the guitar and so on.
If you want to learn carpentry, you need to learn the basic tools, how to use a hammer, how to build a table, how everything fits together, among many others.
Personal magnetism is not different from these skills. There’s also tools to learn how to use.
You can’t expect to develop a good skill in personal magnetism without mastering your own energy, mental states, gaze, touch, movement, attention, etc.
While the other skills require actual physical tools, the tools of personal magnetism are all within you. You don’t need to clutter your house with more stuff. Everything you need is inside of you.
But the same way that you need to spend time to learn how to play a guitar, you also need to do the same with these tools.
It’s slow to learn how to play a guitar for only 20 minutes a day. It can be done, of course, but it’s a slow progress. It’s no different in personal magnetism.
You need some dedicated time to it, as well a way to analyze your progress.
In the age of “7 minute abs” or learn everything in “10 minutes or less”, telling someone that it takes time is the kiss of death. We are getting used to getting everything fast and instantaneous. But as you probably learned by now, you can’t get the perfect abs you see on the ads in just 7 minutes a day. It takes a lot more dedication than just 7 minutes.
The tools require time to master. Not 7 or 20 minutes, but much more than that. Any skill takes time to master. And that’s ok!
Don’t be afraid of investing the necessary time. It’s well worth it!
