Your inner compass

Last week, we discussed the importance of listening to our bodies, our impulses, and our desires. We observed that our mind cannot function separately from our body.

It’s crucial to hear and acknowledge what our body is telling us, but we shouldn’t follow these impulses blindly. If we did, we’d be no different from animals, driven purely by instinct.

So, we listen to our bodies, allowing our impulses to circulate and their energy to flow.

However, this can become confusing. Our mind cannot operate independently from our body, and while our impulses and desires need recognition, they shouldn’t be followed without question. So how should we behave? How should we act? What can we do?

There’s something deeper within you — something beyond bodily desires and impulses, important as they may be. It’s not rational or logical, but rather an inner compass that guides you in the right direction, closely connected to your true Will.

When you learn to work with this inner compass, you gain access to the depths of your soul and a sense of direction toward the path meant for you. It’s neither logical nor driven by desire or impulse — it’s something else entirely. And only by understanding your mind, body, and energy can you learn to work with it.

If you can’t distinguish between an impulse driven by hunger and a prompt from your true Will, it becomes difficult to follow this guidance.

Following this inner compass is a personal journey, but it can be challenging — especially when you’re influenced by those around you, fearful of external circumstances, or swayed by social or bodily desires

That’s why a course like Will Mastery is valuable. It helps you understand and differentiate between the various aspects of yourself, so you can identify what’s truly guiding your behavior and align yourself with your true Will.
