Here’s an interesting question from a student:

“Is sexual energy the same for men and women?”

Both men and women have sexual energy. It’s common to both.

And it’s easily verifiable:

Once you have enough energy awareness you can feel the sexual energy projections of both men and women.

So you know that it’s common.

Besides, sex is a universal aspect of living beings. We’re all drawn to it one way or another since it’s related to the perpetuity of the species. So it’s normal that a strong energy is there to drive that behavior.

The energy is the same, what changes is the internal feeling and experience of this energy.

Women tend to be much more connected to it than men.

For women, the training and development of sexual energy comes quite naturally. They feel it more, they can project it better, they can understand it better.

Men, also, usually experience difficulties in connecting with it. Or often only connect with the superficial layers.

Please keep in mind that I’m doing a gross generalization, since some men can get it instantly and some women may have difficulties connecting with it.

This is related to the nature of the energy in itself. Tension energy is much easier to be grasped by men since it’s connected to the Will, which has a stronger masculine component. While sexual energy, by having a stronger feminine component – the pleasure, Venus aspects – are easier understood by women.

It doesn’t mean that we can only train and develop what comes easier for us. Not at all.

The energies are there inside of us anyway, we can connect with what we need and want. Just because you ignore sexual energy it doesn’t mean it’s not there.

It will still be there driving your behavior and your actions, you’re just not aware of it.

And as always with everything related to energy, the more awareness you have, the more control you’ll have over your own life, behaviors and magnetism.
