Here’s an interesting question from a student:

“Does a man who is sexually magnetic feel jealously?”

Some jealousy is perfectly normal regardless of whether or not you are sexually magnetic.

As much as I would like to tell you that a sexually magnetic man will be perfectly free of all negative emotions, that is not the case.

Any magnetic man will also feel negative emotions, as they are part of human life. Maybe some enlightened beings could be completely rid of them, but that’s not the case for magnetic men.

Indeed, magnetism doesn’t thrive in situations with negative emotions, but that isn’t to say that you should always maintain a perfect equanimity state. It’s not like you will always be perfectly free of negative emotions.

For example, you may be a sexually magnetic man who can easily attract others and is free of jealousy. Except when you are in a relationship, you turn into a jealous, controlling freak.

So these feelings will only come up in specific situations, making this man less magnetic in those situations, and his relationships never quite work out. Once the man is out of that relationship, they become (again) free of those emotions, regaining their natural magnetism and repeating the vicious circle.

Negative emotions of all kinds will always live inside of you. It’s about how you handle them.

Magnetism is about expanding your energy and not wanting to take something from others. It’s sharing the abundant energy that you have inside.

But, if your negative emotions overpower your good ones consistently, it’s hard to share what you have and be magnetic.

You don’t need to be perfect; you just need to become aware of your negative emotions and reduce them, little by little. There will come a point where your positive emotions overpower your negative ones, and your magnetism can shine.
