It’s common to find people who always blame others for their failures and their situation in life.
“It’s the government fault”
“It’s my wife’s fault”
“It’s my boss’s fault”
“It’s the economy!”
Yet, our situation in life it’s rarely the fault of a third party. Our choices, both in life and inside our own mind brought us to whatever situation we may find ourselves.
Yes, there are random acts of “fate” – for good and for bad – which might change everything. For example, you can lose everything in a natural disaster.
There’s nothing you could have done and it simply happened. Whether it’s related to your karma or not, it’s not the point.
The way you REACT (internally and externally) to this random act, it’s the important aspect.
Shit happened… now, what are you going to do about it?
We’ve seen all kinds of different reactions. Some people just curl into a fetal position and never do anything else ever again.
While others rebuild everything from scratch and even reach a better position in life.
The world is filled with people who lost everything, yet, regained it and earned even more!
But it’s also filled with people who still blame the government or the police or economy for their own situation in life, and never change their own mindset.
Taking responsibility it’s the ultimate act of empowerment.
When you take responsibility by who you are and where you are, then you can start building from there.
When you still blame others for your failures and bad situations, then it’s out of your hands. You can’t influence the economy or the government or (on many cases) even your family.
But you can influence yourself, your own actions, thoughts and energy. That’s the only thing you can be absolutely sure you can change and influence.
And your own actions, thoughts and energy can change who you are and where you are.
It’s never too late to take responsibility.
